MCALLEN, Texas – Experience a chilling treat Thursday, July 25, as a national restaurant chain offers a special promotion to benefit Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
July 25th is the 14th annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day. From every Blizzard sold at participating Dairy Queen locations in the Coastal Bend and Rio Grande Valley, $1 or more will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. The funds raised will be used to help raise awareness to the more than 150 children’s hospitals across the United States, including Driscoll Children’s Hospital. All funds stay in local communities.
Last year, more than $5 million was raised by Dairy Queen across the U.S. and Canada for local CMN Hospitals. Since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised more than $115 million for CMN Hospitals through fundraising efforts such as Miracle Treat Day and the Miracle Balloon campaign.
