MISSION, Texas (KVEO) — An exhibit in honor of fallen Cpl. Jose Luis “Speedy” Espericueta has been set up as the anniversary of his death approaches.

Espericueta served with the Mission Police Department for over 13 years.

The exhibit features Espericueta’s uniform and a biography.

“This is just to show the public and his family that he will never be forgotten,” said Mission Public Information Officer, Art Flores.

The exhibit will also have a location for the public to write their anecdotes of Speedy.
