Brownsville man dies in rollover accident, three injured

A Brownsville man was killed in a rollover accident on Wednesday in a town outside Refugio.

The driver of a Ford F150 was traveling northbound on U.S. 77 when he veered off the road and overcorrected to the right before rolling over.

The driver and his three passengers were all taken to Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi.

One passenger, a 55-year-old man, died at the hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Two other passengers, a 17-year-old and a 24-year-old , survived. Both women remain in serious condition at this time. The 24-year-old was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The 64-year-old driver also remains in serious condition. 

Their identities have not been released at this time.
