Front to bring cooler temps to RGV

Wind speeds will continue to decrease Sunday night as a cold front moves through South Texas.

The front is expected to move through the upper valley between midnight and 3 am.

By sunrise the frontal boundary is expected to make its way through the lower valley.

Thundershowers are possible through the overnight hours in front of and along the frontal system.

The mositure will quickly be replaced with drier air from the North Monday with northerly winds between 15-20 mph.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the 50's on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

Highs will only reach the 70's through Wednesday before temperatures return to above normal levels by the weekend.
