Man shot inside car while driving through Donna

A Hidalgo County man is in the hospital after being shot while inside his vehicle.

Hidalgo County Sheriff investigators said the driver of a black Ford F-150 was driving north on Val Verde Road in Donna, when the driver of a white van pulled along side his vehicle and started shooting.

The victim's black truck flipped several times.

The driver of the white van was last seen driving south on Val Verde.

The victim was taken to the hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time.
