A case of road rage landed three men in handcuffs on Saturday morning.

Hidalgo County Sheriffs Department told Action 4 News that a group of men were driving near Tower Road when they pointed a gun at a woman.

It happened at around 8:40 a.m. The woman called 911 to report the three men in a gray van.

The trio led deputies on a short chase that began at Owassa and Tower Road.

Authorities were able to catch up and stop the car on Minnesota and Alamo Road.

One of the suspects attempted to run away, but all three were apprehended.

The men were taken into custody. Their charges are pending.

Authorities are not releasing their names at this time,  but the case remains active.
