Overnight temperatures will feel below freezing

RGV -- The drizzle is all but over but the cold weather remains a big part of the Rio Grande Valley forecast especially in the overnights.

Skies will begin to clear overnight allowing temperatures to fall to the mid 30's in some spots but northerly breezes will make it feel much cooler generating a wind chill nearer the mid 20's. Again, the wind chill is not the actual temperature but what it feels like on your skin.

Mostly sunny weather will make for a nice Wednesday but northerly winds will keep it feeling cool.

Overnight lows will once again feel cold Wednesday night into Thursday morning with wind chill readings near the upper 20's.

A warming trend will push daytime highs through the mid 60's Thursday afternoon and prevent overnight lows from getting too cold with a forecast low near 45 degrees by Friday morning.
