Rain, hail, lightning and heavy rain
RGV -- Round one is done but the threat of rain, thunderstorms and more severe weather will linger in Deep South Texas through the end of the week.
A slow moving frontal boundary will continue to act as a focal point for showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday, rain and storms possible through the overnight hours as well.
Thursday and Friday the chance for rain and storms, including severe weather, continues as a large area of mid to upper level low pressure slides east across the state of Texas.
The weekend looks great as the last of the rainmakers slides east and high pressure regains control of the valley with lots of sun and southeast breezes.
