Farmers markets set to relaunch

Living a healthy lifestyle begins with the foods you consumer on a daily basis.

That includes fresh fruits and vegetables, which can be found at local farmers markets.

The Weslaco and McAllen based markets will be kicking off once again over the next month.

Chef James Cantor and Chef Brent Shriver filled you in on all the details on Action 4 Sunrise.

The two chefs also whipped up some amazing dishes for you with ingredients found at the farmers market.

The Weslaco Farmers Market is located on 255 S. Kansas Ave. and will relaunch on Thursday, Oct. 24.

If you are in the McAllen area, their market is located at 4001 N. 23rd St. and will get back to business on Saturday, Nov. 17.
