He didn't start playing football until he was in high school, but McAllen Rowe offensive lineman Adonis Cruz made up for lost time, garnering 1st team all-District 31-5A honors as a senior before being selected to play for the South team in the Texas high school Coaches Association All-Star football game July 30th at TCU.
