A Brownsville man and a teen are behind bars after they allegedly robbed a convenience store.
It all happened at a gas station on the 700 block of West Elizabeth Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Brownsville police said Eduardo Zamorano and a teen entered the store and threatened the clerk with a screwdriver.
Zamorano and the teen allegedly ransacked the cash register and hit the clear before running out.
Officers quickly responded to the scene and arrested both of them on aggravated robbery charges.
Authorities sent the teen to the Darrell B. Hester Juvenile Detention Center in San Benito.
Zamorano remains in custody at the Brownsville City Jail under a $100,000 dollar bond.
