One of the new goalie prospects on the now-extremely-young Killer Bees roster is Brad Phillips, who comes from a pretty athletic family. Both Brad and his uncle played at Notre Dame, though in different sports and different eras.

Phillips is another Michigan kid on a roster with plenty of Michigan connections for Killer Bees head coach Chris Brooks, who not only played at Western Michigan, but spent almost a decade there cultivating recruits and contacts.
