HIDALGO, TX -- While Pharr Valley View and Hidalgo high schools are separated by only 2.5 miles, and the two have had some heated football games in the past, the Tigers now look at their matchup with the Pirates as just another opportunity to prepare for District 32-4A action, and not as a heated rivalry.
