5 Local Medalists At UIL Tournament

AUSTIN, TX -- Rio Grande City wrestler Lisa Gonzalez is the Valley's newest state champion, taking home the gold medal at 148 pounds from the UIL tournament in Austin. Minutes after winning the title, Lisa joined Action 4 Sports reporter Joe Bowling live during Action 4 News at 6pm. Lisa was one of 5 local wrestlers who came home with medals, the Valley's best ever showing in that sport.
