Accident between semi-truck & car in McAllen

Department of Public Safety officials are currently investigating an accident that happened in the early Monday morning hours.

The collision was between a semi-truck and a car on Military Highway and 10th St. in McAllen.

Sources tell Action 4 News, the car was hit on the driver's side-- the semi hit a palm tree and ended up in a ditch.

There is no word of any injuries.

We will keep you posted on the latest as it becomes available.
