A 25-year-old from McAllen was charged with two counts of sexual assault.

He is a staff member at Travis Middle School and has been placed on administrative leave.

A report was filed on Thursday afternoon about the assault.

After an investigation, the McAllen Police Department took Cruz Felipe de la Garza into custody on Friday.

His bond was set at the $150,000.
