The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees office is closed amid a lawsuit over ownership of the team.

The team is not folding but Action 4 Sports has learned that employees have not been paid for the past two weeks.

The Central Hockey League team's former owner and current owner are squaring off in court.

One employee told Action 4 Sports that he and others are frustrated and want a quick resolution.

Killer Bees General Manager Dan Belisle spoke with Action 4 Sports.

Belisle said he is continuing to work with a skeleton crew but the team cannot continue to have its employees working unpaid.

About 10 employees are affected by the situation.

"I hope somebody sees this and realizes that people's livelihoods are at stake," Belisle said.
