Multi-city chase ends with crash into yard, suspect into ambulance

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Department and Pharr Police are investigating a chase that started in Donna and ended in Pharr.

Authorities were chasing a maroon SUV down F.M. 493.

During the pursuit, the suspects started dumping items from their windows and displaying weapons to police.

The men bailed out of the car around 9 p.m. when they jumped a curb and landed on the front yard at a home on Kelly Avenue and Bluebonnet Street.

Three suspects have been taken into custody. One of the suspects was taken into an ambulance.

The SUV is registered to Lee Alvarez out in Donna.
