Fatal accident reported off Military Highway in Brownsville

Authorities are investigating a fatal accident on a highway that runs along the U.S./Mexico border in Brownsville.

It all happened on Military Highway and Torres Road around 8:00 a.m. Friday.

Brownsville police confirmed that a teenage male was killed the accident.

Two passengers were rushed to the hospital with one of them being listed in critical condition.

A cause of the accident is not clear but officers reported finding 500 pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle.
