MERCEDES, TX -- Mercedes began the 2nd half of their bi-district playoff game red-hot, going on a 10-3 run to cut Corpus Christi Moody's lead to two, but the Trojans' three-point shooting proved too much for the Tigers, in the postseason for the first time in 28 years.
