Sam Gutierrez To Play At Gardner-Webb

Former Edinburg North soccer player Samantha Gutierrez signed a letter of intent to play at Division I Gardner-Webb University AUSTIN, TX -- in Boiling Springs North Carolina on Tuesday, National Signing Day. Samantha was Rio Grande Valley  newcomer of the year as a freshman with the Cougars, and is currently a senior at St. Stephens Episcopal School in Austin. Sam also participated in the region III Olympic development Program and  was a part  the training pool for the Mexican U17 National Team.
