Wanna be in a movie? The producers of 'Miracle at Donna' are holding an open casting call this weekend.
Directors need extras of all ages across the Rio Grande Valley to take part in the film.
The documentary based on the 1961 Texas State Championship Football team from Donna.
Production for the documentary has already begun.
Director Frank Aragon told Action 4 News that he is looking for extras to recreate the 1950's in the town of Donna.
The Open Casting Call will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the following location and time:
Kay’s Bokay
818 E Harrison
Harlingen, TX
Time: 10:00am-2:00pm
Those interested are to arrive at 10am fully dressed in late 1950’s apparel.
This includes head to toe attire, complete hair and makeup.
Organizers are asking participants to NOT come dressed like early 1950’s or the movie "Grease."
The role is unpaid and strictly voluntary.
