MCALLEN, TX -- The newest pro sports team in the valley is the Rio Grande Valley Magic of the Southern Indoor Football League, and the team has unveiled their new logo and colors. The logo prominently features an ocelot, a type of wildcat only found in one place in the United States, the Valley. The main colors appear to be gold and navy blue, much like the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL.

The Magic are also looking for talented players interested in playing for the team. Tryouts are at Rattler Stadium on the campus of Sharyland High School in Mission, and they'll be held November 6, 2010 at 10 a.m.  Pre registration will cost $50 and day of registration will cost $60. Anyone interested in trying out can go to the RGV Magic Web Site at www.rgvmagic.com sign up to get information for the local tryouts.
