Begin 3-Game Series With Amarillo
HARLINGEN, TX -- United League Baseball’s Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings will face the top-seeded Amarillo Dillas in the best-of-three semifinals round of the playoffs beginning Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. at Harlingen Field. The WhiteWings clinched their first playoff berth since 2007 by beating the Edinburg Roadrunners 13-2 in seven innings in game one of a doubleheader on Sunday at Edinburg Baseball Stadium. The Wings were 10 games under .500 at one point before heating up, the team won 13 of their last 16 games.
