IRVING, TEXAS (AP) -- The Dallas Cowboys are about to begin quite a summer trip. They hope to eventually end up at home for the next Super Bowl.
Training camp begins Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
That begins a five-week span when the Cowboys will travel more than 6,500 miles, practice in three cities and play in four stadiums.
All that before the regular season or the possibility of being the first host team in a Super Bowl.
Owner Jerry Jones has constantly reminded his team that the next Super Bowl will be at Cowboys Stadium in February.
After two weeks in San Antonio, the Cowboys play in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.
They then go home for a few days and play another game before two weeks of camp in Oxnard, Calif.
