Battle Wings Provide No Homecoming For Dorados

Rio Grande Valley Dorados (6-5) cut a trio of 10-point deficits to three points but could not overcome Southwest Division rival Bossier-Shreveport (7-5) in a 59-56 loss in Hidalgo Saturday night in front of 4,273 fans.

HIDALGO, TX -- RGV had a chance to tie the game with 2.4 seconds left, but kicker Radamez Rubio’s 46-yard field goal attempt missed wide-right.

The Dorados play again at home Saturday, June 27 vs. Arkansas at 7:30 p.m.
