Edcouch Elsa and Mission advance to State 7 on 7 Tournament

MISSION, TX -- The local state qualifying tournament for 7-On-7 football was held Saturday at Sharyland High School in Mission. In the Championship game, Edcouch-Elsa's Roger Garcia had one touchdown reception and an interception return for another score in a 20-13 win over Mission. Robert Garza played quarterback for EE, who along with Mission, now advances to the state 7-On-7 tournament in College Station July 10th & 11th.
