RGV 74, Yard Dawgz 73

The Rio Grande Valley Dorados came back from a 21-point deficit to edge the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz 74-73 Friday night.
The win pushes RGV to 4-1, while the No. 2 ranked Yard Dawgz suffered their first loss of the season.
RGV trailed 27-21 at the half and closed what was a 21 point gap in the final two minutes of the first half. After the Yard Dawgz took a 27-6 lead with 5:34 left in the second quarter, Rod Windsor and Anthony Chambers hauled in short yardage passes from Nick Hill to get RGV back in the game.
Rod Windsor tied a franchise-record with six TD receptions while hauling in a team-record 19 catches. Nick Hill (34-44-1, 325 YDS, 7TD) set a team record for completions. Windsor’s 2-yard TD catch with 10 seconds left int he game put the Dorados ahead for good.
The Dorados return home on Monday, May 11, vs. the Amarillo Dusters at 7:30 p.m.
