Phillies 13, Astros 3
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA (AP) -- Philadelphia Phillies Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Howard, Eric Bruntlett all hit home runs off Houston starter Mike Hampton in a 13-3 win over the Houston Astros. Carlos Ruiz also homered, in the sixth inning off of Wesley Wright.
Astros first baseman Lance Berkman (left biceps tendinitis) did not make the trip. He hit off a tee in Kissimmee and could play Tuesday. Houston second baseman Kaz Matsui finished 3-for-3. He is hitting .197 this spring.
