UIL considering Valley playoffs request

A group of athletic directors and business boosters were in Austin on Sunday to urge the University Interscholastic League to rotate playoff games between San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley.

UIL officials did not kill the request but rather tabled it and referred it to their director for review.

If UIL were to approve the request, no changes would appear until the realignment year of 2010.
