KINGSVILLE, TX -- The Port Isabel Tarpons are going to the fourth round of the Texas high school football playoffs for the first time since 2003.

It was a hard-fought game at Wildcats Stadium in Corpus Christi.

Both the Tarpons and the Geronimo Navarro Panthers traded the lead throughout the game.

But a 95-yard drive by the Tarpons in the last two minutes of the 4th quarter tied up the score 28-28 forcing the game into overtime.

The Tarpons scored while their "Seawall Defense" kept the Panthers from scoring.

Port Isabel will face the Bellville Brahmas in Week 4 of the playoffs.

A time and location of the game has not been revealed.
