A Port Isabel man and his wife are facing criminal charges in connection to a sexual abuse investigation.

Police arrested both Franklin and Janice Fink earlier this week.

Franklin Fink is accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl and hitting her 17-year-old brother in an unrelated incident.

Janice Fink is accused about knowing about the sexual abuse and not reporting it to police.

Port Isabel said the couple moved from Ohio to a mobile home park off Highway 100 last year.

Police first became aware of the abuse through a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation.

Franklin Fink faces sexual assault of a child and assault charges.

Janice Fink faces a failure to report child abuse charge.

Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual abuse but police said the children are in CPS custody.

Port Isabel police report that Janice Fink posted bond.

Franklin Fink remains in custody in the Cameron County Jail.
