Off to McAllen this evening for the game between PSJA North and McAllen.

This will be a second night in a row that I get a chance to see a match-up of 2-1 against 3-0.

• McAllen Rowe at PSJA

The Raiders from PSJA North have turned it around since that first game loss to the Donna Redskins but this one will be the test that measures how far they have truly come since that day.

McAllen’s Bulldogs have rolled over everyone thus far but this too could be their strongest challenge on the young season.

The two teams have not played each other since 2003 on the last regular season game of the year.

That game decided which of the teams would make it to the play-offs and it was certainly not lacking in points scored with the Raiders winning 48-41.
