MISSION, TX -- Mission wanted an unbeaten season and the 32-4A crown all to themselves. Mercedes wanted to give the Eagles their first loss and grab a share of the district championship. In the end, the Tigers defense and running back Matthew Guzman gave Mercedes fans the big victory at Tom Landry Stadium.
