Defense shines as Yellow Jackets shut out Panthers

Two teams showed up with plenty of defense as Edcouch-Elsa travelled to Weslaco Saturday night.

Scoreless ball-game after a half and it was the Yellow Jackets scoring on a field goal in the third.

They then forced a fumble and were looking to capitalize when Weslaco’s Kevin Garza intercepts a pass at the one.

EE then upped that play with a safety a few plays later making the score 5-0 which was your final.
