MCALLEN, TX -- Brownsville Pace's defense controlled Laredo Alexander's offense for the 1st 20 minutes of Saturday's 5A area round playoff game, but the Vikings couldn't keep it up, and the Bulldogs eliminated Pace while staying unbeaten at 12-0.
