Florida Atlantic Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger is backing off trash talk from last week.

The Florida Atlantic Owls coach said publicly that  the University of Texas Longhorns "aren't tough."

But the Owls might have to eat a little crow.

The two teams face each other in the first game of the season on Aug. 30.

Longhorns football practice continued on Monday where players were looking good.

UT quarterback John Chiles spoke with reporters where he said the trash talk is only motivating them more.
