The UTB Scorpions baseball team started off the season with a putrid 1-15 record but made rebound.

The Scorpions turned things around and made their first postseason appearance in eight years.

The school hosted and played in the Red River Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament, which started Tuesday.

But the Scorpions couldn't stop Wesleyan College who rolled on with a 3-1 victory.

The tournament action continues Wednesday with three games:

10 a.m.  Bacone vs. Northwood
2 p.m.    UTB vs. Wiley
6  p.m.   Wesleyan vs. Huston-Tillotson

Anyone wearing a baseball uniform gets into the games for free.
