Wednesday, February 13, 2013  Edinburg Bobcats defensive tackle Isaiah Galvan signed a scholarship offer to play football at Chadron State College, a Division II program located in the northwest corner of Nebraska. Galvan talked about his father's help in acheiving his goal of playing at the next level.

Thursday, February 07, 2013  After spending his freshman season as a walk-on with the UT-San Antonio football program, Former Edinburg defensive back Sal Martinez has transfered to play at Texas Southern after the Tigers offered him a full scholarship.

Monday, February 04, 2013  Brownsville state representative Eddie Lucio III has filed a bill to the Texas legislature that would prohibit high school football programs state-wide from having more than one full contact practice per week on game weeks. Some local coaches think that bill is a very bad idea.
