Evansville remained in the lead for the rest of the second period. The third period saw another IceMen power play goal made by Sean O’Connor at 11:44 into the period. The Bees were able to come back with one at 14:44 into the third period as Tomas Klempa took a pass in the slot and beat Evansville goaltender, Bryan Gillis, high glove side.
