McAllen Rowe High quarterback Javi Obregon received his state award – the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week – Friday, Dec. 21 at Rowe. Obregon was named the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week following Rowe’s 50-43 double overtime win over Weslaco East Nov. 9. It was the season’s last regular season game. The win capped a three-game win streak and lifted Rowe into the playoffs.
