Friday, December 21, 2012  McAllen Rowe High quarterback Javi Obregon received his state award – the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week – Friday, Dec. 21 at Rowe. Obregon was named the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week following Rowe’s 50-43 double overtime win over Weslaco East Nov. 9. It was the season’s last regular season game. The win capped a three-game win streak and lifted Rowe into the playoffs.

Tuesday, October 16, 2012  After running and passing for over 6-thousand yards and 60 touchdowns in his 4-year career at Rio Hondo, Bobcats quarterback Juan Puga has played his final high school football game. The senior tore an anterior cruciate ligament in his knee late in last Friday's home loss against La Feria.
