Weslaco welterweight Omar "Panterita" Figueroa weighed in Thursday night in Indio, California, in preparation for his 10-round battle for the WBO Inter-Continental Youth Lightweight Title on Friday. His opponent, undefeated lightweight prospect Michael Perez (15-0-1, 9 KOs), of Newark, N.J., weighed in at 134.6 pounds while Figueroa (13-0-1, 10 KOs), measured 134.4 pounds.
