The Killer Bees final cut to get down to 19 players on the roster was taken out of their hands when the San Antonio Rampage called up forward David Marshall. This means the Bees will open the season Friday at home against Missouri with three goalies on the team.

The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (7-9-2) were able to score the last two goals of the game but the rally fell short as the Missouri Mavericks (9-6-2) finished the weekend sweep of the Bees winning 3-2.
