Thursday, April 11, 2013  Action 4 Sports first brought you the news a few weeks ago that McAllen Rowe lineman Adonis Cruz had made the THSCA state all-star team, this week, the complete rosters were unveiled, and Cruz will be joined by two other Valley all-stars at TCU in July: McAllen Memorial lineman Tim Ruiz and Edinburg forward Gabriel Rivas, who made the all-star basketball team.

Thursday, April 11, 2013  He didn't start playing football until he was in high school, but McAllen Rowe offensive lineman Adonis Cruz made up for lost time, garnering 1st team all-District 31-5A honors as a senior before being selected to play for the South team in the Texas high school Coaches Association All-Star football game July 30th at TCU.

Monday, March 11, 2013  Oscar De La Hoya is coming to the Valley this week, his 1st time back to promote a fight since 2004. And with the Golden Boy comes one of the most popular boxers in the world, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Both will be appearing at 3:30pm Thursday press conference at the McAllen Convention Center to promote Canelo's fight with Austin Trout at the Alamodome April 20th.

Monday, February 18, 2013  Before the game, the McAllen Rowe boys basketball team moved up a spot in the Texas 5A poll. During the game, the Warriors proved they deserved that ranking, pulling away from a talented Los Fresnos team in the first round of the hoops postseason.

Monday, January 28, 2013  McAllen ISD hired Rowlett co-offensive coordinator Kevin Brewer to be head football coach and athletic coordinator for the McHi Bulldogs Tuesday night. Brewer replaces Tony Harris, was fired from that position after 17 seasons. An assistant with the Eagles the past ten seasons, Brewer played college football at TCU in the 1990's and will be making his debut as a head coach.
