After running and passing for over 6-thousand yards and 60 touchdowns in his 4-year career at Rio Hondo, Bobcats quarterback Juan Puga has played his final high school football game. The senior tore an anterior cruciate ligament in his knee late in last Friday's home loss against La Feria.

Rio Hondo jumped out to a 22-3 lead in the 1st half on three Juan Puga TD throws, then hung on for the 22-17 win to give La Feria their 1st loss of the season, while the Bobcats take sole control of 1st place in District 32-3A.
