Friday, December 21, 2012  McAllen Rowe High quarterback Javi Obregon received his state award – the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week – Friday, Dec. 21 at Rowe. Obregon was named the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week following Rowe’s 50-43 double overtime win over Weslaco East Nov. 9. It was the season’s last regular season game. The win capped a three-game win streak and lifted Rowe into the playoffs.

Monday, November 19, 2012  After running for four touchdowns and passing for another in a double-overtime victory over Weslaco East to make the playoffs, McAllen Rowe quarterback Javi Obregon is honored as the Texas 5A player of the week.

Saturday, October 15, 2011  Urgently needing a win to stay in the District 30-5A playoff hunt, McAllen Rowe delivered a shutout to Palmview to force a 4-way tie for third in 30-5A.
