Tuesday, January 08, 2013  With Harlingen and Harlingen South tied late in the 4th quarter, Cardinals coach Greg Yates called a timeout. After some defensive adjustments, the Cards outscored the Hawks 10-0 down the stretch for the win, causing a logjam atop District 32-5A.

Wednesday, December 12, 2012  In a battle between two of the Valley's top boys hoops teams, Harlingen South rocketed past Porter in the waning moments of their District 32-5A throwdown in Brownsville. The two teams will meet once more in Harlingen next month.
