Saturday, September 22, 2012  In a matchup many thought would tell which 32-5A team was a contender and which a pretender, both Harlingen South and Brownsville Veterans proved their mettle at Boggus Stadium, though in the end, it was the Hawks who dealt the Chargers their first loss of the season.

Saturday, September 15, 2012  For the 1st time ever, Brownsville Veterans played a home contest at Sams Stadium, and the Chargers began their residency at their new home in style, shutting out the Porter Cowboys.

Wednesday, September 12, 2012  While Brownsville Veterans played home games against varsity opponents in 2011, they were staged at the Chargers' campus stadium. This week Veterans will play their first-ever game at their true home field of Sams Stadium, and they will do so putting their unbeaten 2-0 record on the line against crosstown rival Porter.
