Rio Grande City's Stephen Saenz Marks In Shot Put At Olympics, Does Not Qualify For Finals

Friday afternoon in London, Rio Grande City's Stephen Saenz represented Mexico in the 2012 Summer Olympic Men's Shot Put competition. Saenz scratched on his first and second throws, but marked an 18.65 meter throw on his second. Unfortunately, that was not enough to make the top 12 and qualify for the final.
